You Guys are All in for a TREAT
In my hunger for all things rotary, I came across this, and knew I had to post it here. I present to you, 7thgencivic.com a vintage brochure from the Toyo Kogyo 110S. You may be wondering what that is. Well, for all you rotary buffs, it's the Cosmo Sport. The car that debut in 1968 and shocked the automotive world, and paved the way for the RX-2, RX-3, RX-4, RX-5, RX-7, RX-8 and the rare rotary pick up truck. Enjoy.

Awesome. I wanna be able to design a car like that some day.
Mazda is the only company that stuck with the rotary engine. Hmmm, a quick conversion and I got over 150 mph on a four speed. wow.

a friend of mine had a rx-3 and it was the funnest car iv been in!! small, light loud and rear wheel drive.. thing was pretty quick to. he took it to the track and ran a 15.1 with an intake and i believe he had no exhaust..it was bad ***..it was a drift machine, funnest car to drive in..the motor could take a beating as he took it to 9000 rpms lol. he got it for like 500 bucks but ended up selling it, which sucks and he hella regrets it but got like 4500 for it.

Sorry guys haven't been on for a while. Well you were right, there was no RX-6. The reason why, is because in Japanese, the word for six (I don't remember how to say or spell exactly) sounds too close and awkward next to "RX" so they left that one out.
The rotary pick up is easy to find on google. Here's a pic:

My buddy has 2 Rotary pickups. They are soooo smooooth.... and sooo fast.
Knew a guy that had an R-100.
Hard as hell to get parts for. I gave up my RX-2's when Cali smog clamped down. I really miss them. I had an RX-4, 4 RX-2's and an RX-3. The best was the RX-2 coupe that I stuffed an RX-4 13B and 5 speed into. It was QUICK. Racing Beat was my friend
Those were the days.... Never got an RX-7, though.

Good find. I had an 1st gen rx7 for a little bit. Long enough for me to study alot about the rotary and its use in the car as well as hp gains. I like the rotary turck(and yes I have seen them and yes they go for about 8g's in good condition). I am not sure if you know nookiemonster but another use for the rtr truck was that the housings and plates were very thick and real good for doing bridge ports. One day I want to build one again but this time pre smog(and get to finish it). Maybe a rx2 or some thin. I also found that they were very expensive for what you get in hp. I never really got into it to find out all the tricks but it was very neat to read about.

I want one becasue it's different then everybody else and the specs on it are good enough to do what I need a truck to do. And in Ohio cars over 25 years old don't have have emmisions check
I found one that sold for $1,500, sounded like it need some motor work though. REPU.com has a for sale listing
