Dad's friend has cool idea.
I didn't see the CRX with 2 engines but I did see the CRX with the motor moved from the front to the back. They had taken what looked like a B18 and moved it to the back of the car just like it would be in the front. Then they left the front empty I guess.
Damn that would be a tite *** project, I say take pictures and video of the project so we can see too, I know I'm not the only one on here that wants to see that. Props if he gets it to work.
I'm sure theres gonna be a lot custom to be done afterall isnt that the point of a PROJECT

Most, Honda, at least the older ones, have the hemispherical heads, hence they could be called a hemi. Besides I wouldn't want one of those new hemis in a truck or a civic. Why not spend the extra $500 and get the V10 with 40 more hp and 105 more ft-lb?
But you are right, hemi's had diagonally ported heads too.

Hemi - Mopar
Pentroof Hemi - Honda, etc...
The designs are in fact very different. The Mopar Hemis have an actual domed, hemispherical head, which only allows for 2 valves per cylinder, while this makes alot of power in a big V8, in a 4 banger, it would not be efficient. The PentRoof Hemi is two flat angled sides, which allows for 4 valves per cylinder, which is more efficient for a small engine.
So while you could call our engines Hemis, technically theyre really not...but they do get better gas mileage though.

^Exactly, this new technology applied to a v8/v10/v12 makes some serious power!
Back in the day when all v8s were limited to a 16v wedge design, the Hemi was one bad *** mother, but in reality, its outdated technology, with a lead on only the most basic v8s, its really just a name now.

my dad said he was planing on a 454 but my dad said a 350 would be better and easier. Since he built his race cars on his own he knows how to do all his own modification and im pritty sure/has to build a new frame uderneath it all.
I hope he does do it cause if he can get it to work.......badarse!
