i never knew 15's look THAT big
i was snooping around craigslist.org and spotted this. their the 15" si rims. they look pretty dam big in that photo, can anyone tell me why? i doubt its a chop

hmm...optical illusion? or maybe he had rims that were bigger but looked like SI rims, then took the bigger ones off??

Yeah could be the fake rims. My real Si rims look smaller than the stock hubcaps.

they could look bigger if he decided to put low profile tires on the stock rims. so it would be an optical illusion in that there would be less tire sidewall to look at, and if he drops the car enough there wont be too much wheel well, but the rim would still be the same size.

i dont know why anyone would want to do that, but it could happen, i suppose.

But the ones in the picture have the Honda center cap. Is the center cap for real honda si rims not actually a part of the rim and not just a cap?



Anyways it might look that way because he might have put low-pros on it, it is lowered alot, and the angle of the shot.
