Hey guys, I have an 01 EX and noticed that the tranny had a rattle like a ball bearing loose. Being under warranty, i brought it to the dealer and dropped it off to be looked at. They say its a known problem. Then i come to find out that the parts wont be in for a week, then another week, then another. All in all, it was JUST OVER A MONTH to rebuild the tranny. The worst part was i was talking to a guy that just bought an 04 Accord 5 spd and had the same problem. He was picking his car up at the same time as i was, and his was in for almost a month and a half.

The dealer said that prolonged driving of this problem can lead to the drive train snapping and flaring around under the car

I hate dealers that do that. they always say it will be several weeks before we can get the parts in. BULLSHIT!!!. They have a warehouse that stocks those parts in another state and it should take about 1 week at the most.

After fighting with the dealership they finally agreed to a rental car. They really went all out with a 01 sunfire..............coupe.
