Scrrrrrrape....destructive weekend for TeLLy
Well, as you guys know I'm riding low right now, and I had my share of scrapes when I had the H&R's...but never after the Hayames and molded lips. That changed this weekend.
I was rolling around Mississauga yesterday after my friend's wedding but before the reception. Went into the parking garage behind Sussex Centre. I glanced at some cars parked to my left and my front end shook horribly - I went over a speedbump and didn't know. It was too late when I hit the brakes....the rear jumped over the bump and BANG.
When I finally stopped to take a look, the mesh above my tailpipe had gotten bent and ripped in several spots. I was looking for an excuse to re-mesh that anyway....oh well.
Apartment hunting today with my buddy, in downtown...,misjudged a curb...banged then scraped my front lip. Thankfully the damage is to the bottom of the lip. You can't even see it, you have to run your hand under the car to feel it. But the noise was absolutely gutwrenching. Anyways, off to cry now.

eh, everyone scrapes. it is just a part of having a lowered car. ive scraped several times and even cracked my bumper once. scrapes are no big deal though cause you are the only one that will ever know about it because they cant been seen unless underneath the car.

Scraping sucks none the less .. one of the many reasons I just want a simple drop when I do drop (like I want to go around Montreal with a slammed car (lol) )
At least one incident makes you have to work on remeshing .. maybe then you'll be motivated to take care of other things

Huh? You mean the big plates they use on jeeps that go rock crawling and stuff? I'm just gonna save for a CF front splitter. It's no aerodynamic help, but it'll take the curb impacts first...
