I wouldn't put it to the civic.. I would finish what I started motor, etc... and import a 2004 Honda Integra Type-R (which I am already doing) and go buck wild. Then buy females with the rest of the cash

Well wait. I mean, on the NSX, it's mid-engine and RWD, and the engine is transversely mounted. Like there's no drive shaft, much like a FF car. So, with that in mind, if you moved the engine forward a few feet to the front engine bay, wouldn't the axles line up with the front wheel wells? So wouldn't it be FWD?
Or am I just retarded?

i would find a way to get a 1000whp out of a k20, make the exterior as much carbon fiber as possible, suspension, interior would all be racing seats, roll cage, find some way to put a rsx type s dash and console into my civic, 100 grand i could spend it all at one shop at one time in about a hour, it would take at least an hour, to list all the parts on paper

I think you would have to have a freekishly huge buldge in your hood (here come the jokes...lol) but seriously you would need some kind of giant intake manafold to handle the aitr comming in, a twin turbo or combo turbo/supercharger and th k motor fills our car to the brim as it is. A 1000 hp K motor would be in the back or on a small trailer you tow behind you.
My SL65 rim, because a rim is all I can afford

u give me 100 grand and ill make it happen, k20 has a bigger bore and more displacement then all the b series, look at what ive done with the d17, a k20 would be easier, there are more parts for it

dont get me wrong here. I'm not saying your not the person to do it, there's just no pressident so far. Take a look at a car that has made it half way there ( dc5@em2 ) at 500 HP backed by hondawerks cashola and not a tiny inch of room in the front for more hardware. If you think you can get twice the horse power without getting any bigger and for a 100 g's then I'll have to take your word for it.I asked dc5@em2 what his price tag was so far and had no response......anyone else know the answer?

You would really have to get technical on establishing what these limits would be I guess.
Anyway this thread was lots of fun!

Hey, if you want to put 100 grand into a civic, do it. To some people modding is about the love of certain cars in general. Just because its a civic doesn't mean its not worthy of that much money, if that’s the car you love and want to put that much into it then do it. If I had a 100 grand I wouldn’t buy an M3 or some other European car. I would probably do a 240 to Silvia project or something of that nature
But anyway, good luck with your project.

I'd do
K24 block from a CRV with a K20-R head on it, AWD of course.
JR supercharger, nitrous
full CF body (painted to look stock)
tube frame/roll cage.
light *** wheels and grippy tires, prolly slicks at all four corners for maximum performance.
a huge aluminum wing on the back with alteezas so people would think it was slow.

Maybe this will be mroe than 100k, but what the heck:
K20A Type R Engine/Tranny
AWD
LSD
Rear discs
Spoon brakes
Real wide body transformation (not just sticking plastic onto the sides)
CF fenders, hood, trunk (all painted of course
)
Custom wind tunnel tested aero kit.
Custom-stiched leather seats, steering, shift.
Real alumnium trim interior accents
Mugen rims
Reinforced alumnium frame
Spoon suspension
HID with angle/high beam calibrated
Spoon exhaust
Custom gunmetal grey paint
Retracting DVD navigator screen
JL Audio speakers, tweeter, amp.
Most importantly, every single security system imaginable

I forgot to add to my list a glass roof just the space between the ruber drip guards, and from the back window to about where the stock moonroof is.
Either tempered glass or cast acrilic (submarine and seaworld windows use cast acrylic ) so it would add stiffness.
