Yup, I got that notice a week ago, at my house, but im at school. So if my car catches on fire or I crash... Im f'd. I got another two weeks before it goes in to the shop.
so now im curious .... i have DIY black headlights ... will they still change my wire harness ... oh man, i hope they don't pull a "you tampered with the headlights, you're disqualified from this" ... anyone know if theyll change mine?
just bring ur car in, then service advisor will run ur VIN to check if you are one of recall...........then they will fix prob. for ya........
my car fixed yesterday, took 3hours........but only 40mins job.

Yeah i got that letter, but refused to take my car into honda so they can 1) mess up something else, and then CONVENIENTLY offer to fix it for me for an *** raping price, or 2)get the stupid recall job done and find more scratches on my car
well I made an appointment for next week. If they give me crap about my TYC's I'm gonna give it to them, saying I got these cause my OEM bulbs kept blwing out, yada yada yada + TYC is 50 state legal and covered under insurance (most aftermarket companies are not).
my car is in good condition like it is not having any of those problems except for my passenger side window stops moving when it gets wet. but i always have window issues. i may not take it
Thanks to the design of the newer Honda dealerships, I could look into the service bays from the Customer waiting area and watch them fix my 2K1 Civic Coupe, serial no. 1013. It took about 45 minutes, and they didn't say anything to me about my aftermarket PIAA headlight bulbs because the Honda wiring and switch was bad from the factory
, not my bulbs!
, not my bulbs! I have the Owner Link set up with the Honda website and it's supposed to tell me if there's a recall. It didn't and today when I took the car in the service rep noticed that there is a recall. So it's getting fixed now. And I never got a notice about it in the mail. I think it's pretty messed up that Hond never properly notified everyone that this concerns. What if the light did go out and someone ended up getting a ticket? Would Honda pay for it? Would the court dismiss the ticket since therte was a recall that Honda never notified us about? I'm gonna go ahead and guess no for both of those questions.
