Jesus Fish on McLaren F1 *56k warning*
well, today is december 1st, so that meant that it was time to turn the page in my Fast Expensive Cars monthly calendar today. when i turned the page, what was there but a McLaren F1 with a Jesus Fish on the back. I believe in Jesus and all, but i cannot see how anyone in the right mind could put a Jesus Fish on a McLaren F1. I mean the only reason you buy that car is because you are filthy rich, want to go fast, and have a great love for material things, then out of no where you throw a Jesus Fish on the back. i dont dont get. it just makers no sense to me. i just thought i would share this with you guys. the pic i scanned is below.

Rep Power: 0 well its not just saying 'i believe in God' Most people who put Jesus fish on their vehicles go a little deeper than that. Excluding the big cadillac i always see at the local bar w/a Jesus fish on the back...

Rep Power: 0 with all due respect to all of you christians, most of you have no idea what the hell it is you are putting your faith in, if jesus somehow knew that he was being constantly idolized and materialized in the form of a fish placed on a car to denote faith, he would vomit.
If i had that car, i would thank my god damn self, not jesus, that guy must have worked damn hard for the car, and he deserves to claim his assets as proof of his own hard work and not some divine spirit

I like the fish more than the cross. Kind of whack that the Jesus is most commonly represented by the object that he was unjustly killed on.

I'd never drive around a place like that; a bear might come out, or a deer, or cops thinking you're an alien in a UFO. I bet all the other cars and that RV has a million bumper stickers on it. Stickers of Woodstock or "I'd rather be fishing".

Rep Power: 0 I guess. i just look at things such as the jesus fish as a way for some people to show others that the person whom they beleive in helped them in one way or another. Also a simple way to show the person/whatever they beleive in thanks for what they have...
Im not sure why jesus would puke if he saw that(he sees everything anyway
). Its like a commemorative(sp) plaque of sorts. It may be a bit cheesy, i mean it is a fish, but atleast it isnt something bad. Atleast what that fish stands for is love, kindness, and other such ideals.

The fish isn't a symbol of jesus himself, nor is the cross. They symbolize other things. As for the fish, I, as a christian, think it's great. I forgot how the story goes but Jesus was walking along the beach and he said hi to two fishermen brothers. I think one was Paul who would become on of the 12 disciples of Jesus. Jesus says something "let me show how to be fishermen of men" referring to gathering more people to learn of Christ. So people are the fish that were "netted in" (they didn't use fishing rods to fish, they used huge nets) by Jesus, trying to teach them the way of God.
