Rep Power: 0 Ok the srt-4's are nothing. Basically ya they are the fastest cars under 20g's but that doesn't mean they are "FAST". I know plenty of hooked up Honda's and Acura's that would smoke an SRT-4. And since when did Imports not always have a battle between domestics. They act like this is a new challenge?!?!? Ya right the challenge would be something more like a stang or a vette. The SRT-4 is nothing but a car that young people can buy and say. Look mommy! I put no time and effort into my car and it's faster then "SOME" imports!

BTW that vid is NOT 56K friendly, thanks for the warning...NOT! I tied up my comp. for over 15 minutes trying to download that dang thing!

Rep Power: 0 thats a shity video, i mean i respect the guy who put it out. hes prolly got a neon and is very happy that its an actually pretty quick car compared to tons of others.
now the video is really shitty tho, i mean two races in that whole time? cmon, thats a waste of HDD space on my comp.
oh and i am not getting hyped up about all this, nor mad. i still have to find an srt-4 here in ATL that i can try to race untill i know they are slower :-D (uhm...yeah)

Rep Power: 0 thatz such a crappy video..... the srt4 is a quick car.... but..... its still got a domestic interior..... which means its ugly as ****.... not really a good comparison b/w a civic and the srt4..... unless the civic is F.I.ed.. 20 grand for a neon.... geez.... i'd rather buy a veedub GTI.... interior is better.... looks are better.....

I think the video was amusing. I don't particularly hate the car or favor it too much. It's good at what it does. That stock yellow Integra with the wing you see is still a Civic with special attention that went mostly under the hood.
I thought the video was interesting. I was jammin to the beat in the background. haha But anyways, the only race I found interesting was the srt vs. wrx. Well, stock for stock on the highway there was no doubt that was going to happen. The SRT definitely puts more horsepower and torque to the wheels. I would like to see the race from a starting line between the srt and wrx, because I'm pretty sure the wrx would take it pretty good off the line. Then the SRT would be catching up gradually the whole race. This is saying nothing about modified wrx's or srt's. That's a whole other ballgame.
Ok... I have yet to coment on the SRT, but time has come. I saw one the other day at a light. The driver was about maybe 17 years old and had the need to rev the **** out of his car while looking my way. Although the BOV sounded nice, I just couldnt help but laugh at him. 
Anyways... STR is basically buying a $13,000 car and putting a trubo kit on it that would cost maybe $3000 aftermarket, and then lighting another $4000 on fire to get the $20,000 sticker price. That my friends, is the SRT4. It's like buying a Geo Metro and trying to make it a NASCAR... BLAH!

Exactly! The civic, for example, is much more suited for racing around a track rather then trying to Accelerate down a drag strip. I think drag racing imports became so popular because people never new about things like autocross, and the fact that you can't "spontaniously" create an autocross track to see who's the better driver. Drag racing can be done on the spot. Of course I feel that winning at dragracing only proves who has the bigger pocket book $$$.
