Rep Power: 0 honda civic 2008 doing just 9 km per litre
I have honda civic 2008 which was doing 10 km per liter about one month ago. I added seafoam motor treatment in the gas tank and was expecting mileage to get better but now it is doing just 9 km per litre. Is this mileage ok for civic 2008? thanks

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

That's not much of a change IMO.
Driving patterns changed? Winter blend fuel? Weather got colder? Longer warmup time? Tire pressures dropped?
With my own daily driving routine, my fuel economy drops significantly when the weather turns cold, and using remote start when it's below 15F only makes it worse LOL

My Civic is a 2010 but it gets around 30. Driving patterns affect it a lot, but I would have to be doing something strange to get it that low.
The DROP isn't much, but the low mileage is a concern IMO.
Being as you expressed this in km/L I assume this isn't in the US. What kind of fuel (octane rating) do you get?
