Question 06 Civic Sedan EX - AC not blowing cold air

AC not blowing cold air, just barely cool. Checked with 4 mechanics and all 4 said compressor is failing and the high pressure is around 75 (should be 150-200) and low pressure is holding. Dye test was done, no leaks in system.

Question: should I change condenser, receiver drier, extension valve in addition to the compressor unit OR just compressor.
2 mechanics quoted me 600$ for an OEM compressor + Flush line + Freon + Labor. Another mechanic quoted me 1200$ for original Honda Parts (compressor + accumulator/drier + extension valve)

Bought the car brand new in 06 and have it maintained very good and its got 90k miles on it.

I am having the same issue with my '08 LX sedan and am very interested in what others' experience has been repairing the AC. Have any of you replaced only the compressor? What were your thoughts after doing so? Thanks!

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: 06 Civic Sedan EX - AC not blowing cold air

and the high pressure is around 75
The pressure looks like the compressor clutch isn't even engaging? Why or why not?

Clutch clearance, clutch coil, clutch relay, or thermal protector issue is expected.
I very rarely replace compressors because I almost always solve the problem with one or more of those parts I just listed.
