I want to display google driving directions from my android phone to Honda civic 2018 touch screen, how can I do that. I need to download android auto or hondalink application? And can it be done wirelessly? Thanks

as far as I know, you can only do it via android auto... unless you root your headunit (which I've read some dealerships will do, but charge out the butt for something you can google).
I couldn't tell you for sure because I opted for the non-fancy non-touchscreen

I had to download the android auto app on my phone and the car will see that when you connect it (yes, wired). I think it works great! It shows you when the traffic is slowing, or stopped, by colour variations on the screen. I was told the phone needed to be physically connected to the car in order to work.
