Intermediate Vinyl colors:
Inner - light gray
outer - slate gray
square (big C) - light gray
Please PM me with any questions. Im in FL until Sunday night so I got this message a few min ago. I can send money via check as soon as I return. If you can't order it without payment then I guess I'll pay extra and try to score them later.
I will post my final file in this thread tonight.
PbFoot! You should post your file too. Mine will be in Postscript format. That's a vector format that the SilentRage dude said he can work with...

i would post it, but i dont think i have postscript capabilities. the final (300 dpi) version of the file is like 200kb and its a jpg format, so there is no way i can post that here. i sent it to phil, so he has it...or i can send it to you also after i get off work. just let me know your email or AIM name, whichever is best for you.

Well, what we would wanna find out first is how much its gonna cost total and if it will cost more for Brandon's and Joe's colors. I suggest asking for a breakdown of how much each sticker will cost and also if there will be a different price for each design.
The rest of you might wanna check the graph to make sure thats what you want.

Yep. I got it. I just don't have the time to go through this thread to figure out who's ordering what today. I think someone else should put in the order. I'll post my file soon.

Yeah, but your little graph doesn't take into account MadWheel's complipicated order. I don't have the attention span right now to start figuring this one out...
Hi Roy. I think we are pretty much set to order those designs from you. Have a few more questions but this should be it.
Design 1.
(PB's)
Design 2.
(Grey's)
We want 9 White stickers for Design 1. 8 Slate Gray stickers for Design 1. 11 White/Slate Gray stickers for Design 2. Design 1 to be 4"x4" and Design 2 to be 2"x8".
For Design 1, is it possible to make it so the only part of the actual sticker is the color part? So the white C and the outline of the black C is all one sticker, the "oncepts" are 14 little stickers, and the black parts would be be the actual glass? I dont know how complicated this process is, but wondering if it is doable.
Also, we have a couple requests for different colors as well. One person wants 2 Red stickers for Design 1.
Another person wants (this is kinda complicated)
2 Metallic Pewter stickers of Design 1. 2 stickers for Design 2. Outer edge Dark Charcoal Metallic. Inner Metallic Pewter. If that is not possible, he would like. 2 Light Grey for Design 1. 2 Slate Gray (outer) and Light Gray (inner) for Design 2.
How much would each sticker costs for the bulk of the order? How much will each sticker cost for the 'custom' colors (assuming its doable)?
Thanks!
metallics cost more and adding a 2nd color costs more.
Hmm... I wonder why my design costs so much more? The dual colors? The size is the same and there's only twice the number of colors, so shouldn't it cost only twice as much?
Anyway, when we get the final order in make sure to specify that no distortion of the oringinal graphic is to occur when sizing it to the 2"x8" dimentions! - Just size it to be 8" by whatever the height ends up being, or if the height is the first dimention to reach 2" when resizing then make that 2" and have the width be whatever it ends up being.
Actually, scratch that. I just tried it. My graphic hits 2" high before it hits 8" wide when resizing it. That's allright though, it's only 1/4" from 8" wide when it hits 2" high. He can stretch it out to 8" wide and it'll still look like the original. Just slightly stretched out. It actually looks good like that, so whatever he does it should be fine.

the reason it costs more than 2x as much as the other graphic (and this is just a guess) is because its dual color. silentrage has a weird way of making borders on graphics (at least thats how they made my other one). they pretty much make 2 graphics of different sizes and then overlay the smaller one over the larger one...i think. so thats why it may cost more.
i dunno...just guessing.
but i gotta say this, its gonna be a pain in the *** to put the "oncepts" on there so that theyre all alligned and equidistant. cause its not really 14 little stickers, but 28...and that blows! if roy hasnt started making these, can you (kevin) ask him if the black parts could be clear, instead of empty? so that its all one graphic...and not 29 pieces. its still gonna look the same, just makes it easier i think.

haha....oops....i forget how to count sometimes. the funny thing is, i tried to double check myself and counted 7 letters in "oncepts" and then for some reason still thought that it would be 28 stickers...

can you tell its been a long day? lol

Actually, it is 14. Its 7 letters split in 2. And its really not that hard, as long as the final product is an exact reproduction. When you peel of the backing, all of the stickers are still stuck on the clear "top" layer. Just be careful when you place the sticky side on the glass and everything will where they should. Then just peel away the clear layer and only the decal remains. Unless all we get is the decal and the backing...cause that would indeed suck.
