Re: This is one serious high powered 2017 Civic
Yeah it could further be modified out but why mess with a good thing.?
or blow something up...! "its pretty moded up from Honda already"
the Evolutuion of The Honda Civic has really come along ways i still remember seeing the first Civic's
that were driven on the streets 1st one in 1973 only had a whopping (59 H.P. engine)... its a Far cry
from what we have today. cars in the late 70's were under powered from federal emission requirements but they
still were fun to drive I remember driving my dads 6cyl 77 Pontiac Ventura it had a Quadra Jet 2 barrel carburetor
with No A/C in the Car. You had to drive around in the summer time with the windows rolled down. and many times
You could smell the exhaust fumes coming in the car from the carburetor. oh
Yeah with steal crome bumpers thicker gauge sheet metal all around it was a heavy tank for sure far cry
from what we drive today getting back to the Civic type R I aplaud Honda for what they made.!!
Yes..! i would Love to have one.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: This is one serious high powered 2017 Civic
A slightly detuned (less ballsy) version of this engine will be available in the next Accord, also available will be a 10 speed automatic trans.

Thanks for the input ezone I'm sure most Car Enthusiasts wont enjoy
this engine in a Accord version. I really Like this Civic Type R Hatchback watch
how well it performs on Germany"s Nuerburgring race track realy a Nice Looking
& handling Civic machine if I say so my self.

Remind me of the s2k.
the common mods would actually make the car lose power and handling instead of improving
I saw the dual link front macpherson suspension, pretty interesting.
Ah, I will move this to the 10th gen section

I should have taken pictures while I had one in the air.

the rear wing is fuctional as well, brembo brakes for stopping power, & aluminum hood with scoop.
"only 2 colours to choose from white or black"
though..? wonder why only 2 colours I guess white would be the choice.

it eliminates the torque steer" pretty impressive suspension for a front wheel drive car with 295 Foot pounds of Torque.
also some other features I like on it.?
7 inch Navigation screen- Yes good to have
Apple CarPlay, android Auto- "Could care less about it" - being I'm old school
540 watt 12-speaker stereo system- Yes Love it!
6 speed manual transmission- Yes only comes in 6 speed
20-inch aluminum wheels with 245/30ZR tires- Yes Love it!
comes in "Red Coloure" - Yes Love it

Re: This is one serious high powered 2017 Civic
Well I was thinking of waiting a couple more years to upgrade but I'm thinking that needs to happen sooner rather later. Everything that I have read about the 2018 sounds pretty sweet.
