Hi All,
New member here. Apologies if there is already a thread on this, I searched but didn't find one for this model and trim. I'm wanting to purchase a 2017 Honda Civic 4-door Sedan, EX-L (without navigation, without honda sensing), and am wondering what people have paid for this car. Taxes and fees may be different from dealership to dealership and State to State, so looking to get an idea of what others have paid to make sure I don't get screwed, so wanting to know as much information as possible. Here is a "quote" I received from a Dealership. I live in Utah. The .9% financing is intriguing as well.
MSRP: $24,675
Sale Price: $22,984
Documentary Fee: $299
State and Local Taxes: $1601
Maintenance agreement: $99
Total Out The Door: $25,224
Thanks in advance for your time!

I purchased an EX model so my OTD price ($20,140) will not help you out. I do suggest using a pricing website like TrueCar.com or Edmunds. They have pricing data and also work with dealers to offer good prices. If you choose you can be contacted by dealers in your area. At a minimum you can arm yourself with pricing data in your area.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

For me to work in Sales, I may as well buy the car at full pop (while working in my field of "cough", expertise), because I doubt I would be making enough to afford even employee pricing.

Hi I live in Massachusetts. And I got them down to 15k before tax and fees (mine is also a manual transmission though so that might have something to do with it). It also took me 3 days of negotiating. I have a 2017 civic EX, no navigation or honda sense. Don't pay sticker, I talked them down from 20k. Good luck my man.

In SoCal the EX-Turbo leather was $23k. Only a couple around in the color I wanted, so they got what they wanted. If I had been willing to take another color, they had 4 - 5 and I'm sure I could have gotten it for $1k less.
