So before I get flamed, I'm completely new to all of this.
Anyway, driving from Florida to California, I ended up racing a few cars. I topped out at 126-127 before it cut off. I run 93 octane and everything is still stock.
I was wondering what I could buy for minor upgrades to start? Also I was looking at the hondata flash pro and was curious if anyone has had experience with it and if it works? I just want a better tune to my car but I don't want to damage anything before I get the parts to upgrade first.
Any good advice ?
Used Low w/ traction on
Vs Acura TSX -- win
V6 Honda Accord -- lose
BMW m3 -- lose
First item I looked at was the injen cold air intake made for this vehicle apparently adds 20-25 more HP
Races were on i10

It looks like you're sitting stock at
174hp and 2700 pounds, so your power to weight ratio is 0.064
an e36 m3 for example has a power to weight ratio of 0.088 (282hp and 3200 pounds)
So your target P to W is at lease a 0.09 if you want to hunt e36's.
You would need 243hp and stock weight to hit 0.09.
That's only a 69hp increase, which seems quite possible.
So in order to get faster you can either loose weight
gain power
or do both.
You have a major advantage to most civic owners in that your car came boosted, so you have all the base hardware.
What you need is to burn more fuel and add more air, and to tune for the new air to fuel ratio.
My guess would be that you could pick up quite a bit more horsepower with
NEED
-larger turbo
-tunable ecu
probably need
larger injectors
larger exhaust
may need
larger fuel pump
larger intercooler/piping

don't race on public roads.
don't drive at that sort of speeds on public roads.
there's amateur racing and track days for that sort of thing
