Hmmmm, I just took my car to the shop to get painted silver and have mesh put in the grills, my altezzas came today too along with my enkei rims. LOL That sucks man. That is why I sold my truck....too many lowered s-10's and sonomas around and they all started to look the same. I am sooo glad I did not get my Quantum Teks I wanted cause there is an s-10 xtreme and a lebaron with them rims in town right now. What else is going on guys? Anything new or exciting? The hous eis going good. I had an electrician friend come over today to look at adding lights and outlets in the garage and house. Then I can get a polisher and polish my car real nice and have light to see what I am doing. Besides that nothing new. Later all!

Yeah, a lot of people just use there garage for storage space. I have a little room in my basement that will have a work bench and I can keep my tools and car supplies down there. If you leave them out in the heat and cold it just seems to ruin things like waxes and paint and crap like that. Unless you have an attached heated / a/c garage.
nah i want to.. but all my money is tied up into gettin the magnaflow.. i barely made it with payin gas.. luckly, i had to pick up my brother from U of M so my mom gave me enough money for a full tank of gas. since i lost my wallet, i lost the 2 bucks i was ganna spend towards renting american graffiti

HoTeX i thought you worked at fortellos or how ever you spell it man ill tell you this stuff get pretty expensive so if your plans are to get in the customizing game you sure are going to need a job unless your parents help you out and buy you stuff. this thing becomes an addiction

Yeah xhotekx you should like try Lowes Hardware they hire in at a good level and you could really learn stuff. I worked at ACO Hardware in Southgate for close to 3 years and I learned all kinds of stuff and made enough for my first car (85 Mustang GT 5-speed) and enough for my second car (80 Camaro) after I totalled the stang. LOL
well i sort of have a job. im employed at the Grosse Ile Golf And Country Club, but since the golfing season really hasnt kicked off yet, i havnt been called in to work. I tried to get hired at Lowe's, but you have to be atleast 18 cuz you have to use heavy machinery..i dont get it... i want to work at a hardware store so i can get tools for cheap and learn some stuff on the side. i also want to work at somewhere like autozone or advanced auto parts, but you have to be 18 to work there too.. but i duno, the guys at autozone like me and im there all the time so they might let me get hired.. so i duno. i want to get 2 jobs if i can so i can rake in more bucks. but that also means less time for cruising... work sucks, money should grow on trees

Yeah but just think, you work at a place like autozone and you are out and cruising by 9:00- 9:30. That is what it was like at ACO. Beleive it or not, I worked every single Saturday night except one the whole time I was there and about 99% of Friday nights and it was not so bad. I got home at about 9:45 and then went to my buddy's garage then cruised. The best part of it is after I quit U of M for Mechanical Engineering and went to HFCC for Archtiectural/Construction I already knew a lot of stuff just from working in a tiny hardware. You should talk to your buds at Autozone and see what they say. That way you at least have steady cash flow and learn cars. I know you like the classics and a lot of the Downriver Kruzers shop Autozone so you could learn from them too. Cause you know those guys golfing on the island will squeeze a turd out of the eagle on a quarter and the tips will be small. Well, I am sure you are sick of hearing it especially from people you hardly know but trust me, we have been there and you can learn from our experiences.
yea, i think im ganna stop by autozone n see wat they can do for me.. but at the country club, i get tipped about 10~30bucks a nite. i work in the locker room so im not in the hot blazing sun all day long (unlike the caddies.. hehehe sucks to be them). but yea, i wanna get some sort of a part time job that i have a high interest in. washing shoes isnt a high interest for me.. but cars is.. so i wanna get a job at autozone real bad

You don't want to be a shoe washer for the rest of your life? Oh man, that would be the good life. Especially on the island where you can was Rockports and some fine Italian made shoes. lol Just joking. Let us know what Autozone says.
Also, I would try Fexitivity, the new place on Fort in Southgate. There was just a write up on it in the paper and they said the owner is the guy who owns Southgat Ford so maybe you can see if they are hiring, which I am sure they are. Good Luck!

Platnum: nice rims, i like those

1...Bobby...Do u do oil changes yourself or do u take it to a place? I normally go to some Lube place up here...but I'm afraid my exhaust pipes might not clear the bay...Am I just being over careful??...
2...Edgar...What kinda paint did u use on your drum/discs in your member pics...I wanna do black/silver...not blue...but what kinda paint is it?...and is that pic of your drum or disc?...did u paint your calipers with the same stuff?

Platnum, I used to take my truck to a qucik oil change place all the time and it was lowered enough to make my tires rub the fender wells every bump
and I never had a problem taking it in. I take my Civic to the dealer where I bought the car from cause they are just as cheep as the quick places and they check out everything for me....and I get to browse the S2000's and Civic Si's while I wait
You should not have a problem with your exhaust I would not think. Just have one of the workers watch your exhaust and take it slow.
Well everyone, I am disconnecting this computer so I can get the cable internet re-hooked up at the new house so I will be back online this weekend...hopefully Friday night. Friday is moving day

See you all soon!
