Possible Existing Thread (Exhaust Selection)

Please check my bio for my current specs beyond this.

2000 Honda Civic EX Stock. I'm looking for a performance upgrade exhaust. My current one is in fine condition, but I think I'd like to move forward with pricing this for a future upgrade.

Hoping someone can direct me to a thread speaking about performance (hp) and not exhaust sound for my generation exhaust thread. I'm looking to lose weight and improve performance but I need some advice on pipe size, exhaust type, diy modifications, and need to read up on some general information regarding exhaust with future upgrades.

New to the forum, thanks for any help.

Re: Possible Existing Thread (Exhaust Selection)

Alright, clearly, I need to do my own research on this particular item, will check back still.

How about this? For my first modification I've bought a high-flowing K&M Filter for my stock intake. (Couldn't get enough feedback to make cool-air worthwhile) I'd like to modify my stock intake to allow for a secondary port that I'm trying to DIY to my passenger side fog lens slot.

Am I wasting my time? Can anyone help me with the DIY part of which pipes to buy and whether I can pull it off all the way to my fog lens?
