They all do the same thing!
There is no real difference.
The CAI's air is a tad cooler. (no real power differences)
If you get a CAI of some sort get the aem bypass value just in case.
Anyone you get will be fine.
Its all a matter of preference.
SRI's are just way easier to get to the filter for cleaning.

I switched from the CAI to the FIPK II

I got better low end power with the FIPK II

The CAI tubing gets too hot.

FIPK II = what is the acronym of??? cuz if cleaning the filter for the aem cai is gonna be a pain, and the hp gains are the same, then i might as well get the FIPK II... are the gains really about the same.. if not, how much of a difference will there be?

dude, i used to have the AEM SRI (in my 02 LX auto) and after 12,000 miles or so i swapped back to stock.

Stock definetely pulls harder throughout the entire RPM band. Especially in the low-end...

But if i MUST recommend something...Injen CAI.

On several occasions her gave diagrams and such showing a SRI can give you more low end toque and a CAI might give you more high end torque(I may have that backwards). Asfor the FIPK it gives you low and high end torque and is more consistent.

i cant speak for a SRI cuz i never had one, but i do have a Injen CAI, and as for losing torque or HP in the lower band of RPM's, i'm not sure how true it is, it seems the same as stock to me. it may be so small that it only shows up on a Dyno and you wont be able to tell just by driving. i do notice that my car performs better and more smoothly though. so you may want to consider Injen as well.

Injen SRI.....

you won't have any strut bar fitment issues. You could get anyone you want.

Easy install, easy maintanence, good looks, nice sound, no chance of water ingestion ( i know its very small chance).

I just think the Injen SRI is the easiest way to go.

i have the fipk also, it comes with a dyno sheet, which shows +4.2 hp or something in the 4 range. the intake is pretty quiet until about 4k rpm then it wails. because of the plastic tube and heat shield it stays a lot cooler than other sri's. only b-tch was puttin that rubber seal around the top of the heat shield.

Yeah it's hard to get that trim to go around the corners.
