alright. check it out. i'll post the dyno when i fix my scanner. but.. some interesting facts. the AEM cai gave me about 1 hp less than stock. the K&N filter gave me about 2 to 3 hp extra the whole time. But the K&N filter has two parts. the short part for a short ram intake and then and extension that goes under the battery right. Last wekk they installed the exact same kit on another 2002 ex coupe civic and it fitted perfectly but on mine the second extension wouldn't because. oh a bar for the hydraulic near the battery it blocking it. (i'll take pictures when i get my friend's camera) does anyone else have this problem. is it normal for the same car to be a little different maybe different manufacturers?

so are they letting you keep the filter? hope so, cuz thats sweet... imagine how much hp it would give if it was a CAI... like that one guy's K&N CAI... well, consider yourself lucky to get an opportunity like that...

sorry can't get my scanner up.. oh well.. here are the chart results. AEM= 101.5 hp @ 5.59 RPM Stock= 102.7 K&N= 105.0 . i got called because i gave them my info through their website. umm i forgot the diameter of the K&N but i do know that the AEM filter is different than the K&N. It's alot cheaper quality. (the AEM) i take pictures tom. of my short ram and the bar that is troubling me. tom. at work. and i'll post it up.. keep you updated. sorry that it's lagging

hmm...
I was expecting at least 110 hp stock.. thats the numbers we've been seeing.
you have a manual transmission right?
do u remember what gear is the dyno done at?
if u have all the dynos, thats great if you can scan it and post it... I'll like to take a look at the powercurve and what changes were in it.. and the torque numbers are very important too...
still.. these 2 hp gains aren't exactly worth the 200 dollar for the intake...

I don't see how the AEM could lose power... wtf??? It seems it was rigged in favor of the K&N since that is who did the test. Also AEM uses an AEM filter, its like k&n but its made by AEM...
