Hey guys,

Bought my civic recently and it came with aftermarket headers. The exhaust system on there now is the stock one. The exhaust is snapped off right before the muffler, I've removed the muffler for now. I'm planning on building a full exhaust system from the headers back with 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch piping. I'm not sure if I'll just put a cat and muffler or just a cat. I'd like it to be a little on the louder side. any suggestions guys?

2.5 is overkill if you're not running boost. 2.25 is what I'd go with. Hell, my 2018 civic came stock with 2" piping and it's pushing 21psi with zero issues.

On my 2002, I rocked an A'PEXi WS-II exhaust. Nice low rumble, no angry swarm of bees farting into the can on the way out sound. Got a lot of compliments on the sound. Subtle enough that it wasn't annoying, loud enough (especially on cold startups) where you know it was there. That piping was 60mm (2.36") but with a chambered muffler. Go too high flow and you'll lose* more bottom end torque than you'd like

Well this is the best I can do for now. Good timing since got the car on stands.
