Hey guys, im new to this forum and im also new to the hole Honda game. Since this is my first owned honda, im not sure whats good or bad. Here's my problem! I'm trying to look for a decent catback exhaust system for my Civic.. but i'm on a budget!!! I'm just trying to find something that is going to make my civic sound a lot nicer than the stock **** i have. I bought my ex completely stock and just recently bought a AEM SRI and slapped that bad boy in, it's sounds better but want it to sound like a civic... im not trying to rice it out. Any suggestions would be awesome! thanks

Knowing your budget would help.

a few recommendations though:
APEX'i World Sport II
RSR ex-mag

They are a bit on the pricey side, but they provide probably the best sounding exhausts for our car.

Magnaflow cat back if you want to spend around $500. Go on YouTube and check out some 7 gens with Magnaflows and APEX'i exhaust to see what you like. I do like the sound of the world sport but its expensive.

Thanks a lot guys for the feedback! Im looking around roughly 350$ Max... i don't really want performance upgrade, just want it to look cleaner and sound a bit better. Mind you, this car is completely stock.. so it sounds like ****... well not really if i wanted to be low profile but.. i really don't care. SOHC isn't going anywhere.. so im not trying to deck it out for performance. Anything else guys? Thanks a lot again.

Thanks a lot GolNat! i actually love that deep tone that civic has, i want something similar to that. People say it sounds like ****... but i think it sounds amazing.

SRS Full catback is a nice sounding exhaust for low budget.
Especially if you're only concerned about sound

Nope, but i've heard them in person.
They sound awesome for how much they cost.

Performance wise, probably negligible.

Sweet, thanks a lot kenny. one more question! Since SRS are Ebay exhaust, i mean i know you pay for what you get... but do they rust quickly? or do they have a decent life, just don't want to have to change it 6months down the road.. planning on having this car for maybe 3-4 more years. Whats your take on it?

Could always buy the muffler of the one you like, then go to an exhaust shop and have them do custom piping. Might work out to be cheaper. The Apexi WS2 exhaust is around 800 for a cat back, but you can buy the muffler for 280 and then a shop quoted 150 for custom piping, flanges, mounts, etc, almost half the cost.
