Re: For the BIG power boys...
got any idea on a weight for 52584? when do you estimate prices being available? and where would these be shipped from?
edit: is this going to be a build to order type deal or are we looking at a relatively quick turn-around?

Weights, not too sure. I would imagine a decent amount considering....
Pricing, end of the week or next week.
Some will be built to order, others will be stocked. Shipping will be from FLA or CA

Re: For the BIG power boys...
Autopower is probably recommending you to bolt in the roll cage because it is sometimes safer on certain unibody cars (like the civic) to bolt them in, instead of welding because the metal on the frame/body is not very strong to begin with from the factory. If you hit it with a welder it will end up weakening the metal even more sacrificing integrity and safety. Knowing Autopower they probably will have backing plates included with the bars to help reinforce the area. One of my friends has there race roll bar in his miata and it is pretty tough it really tightens up the car. It's not some
bolt in show bar.Autopower takes there safety equipment pretty seriously; I trust them

That's awesome. I'm glad you're going to start carrying them now, I didn't want to buy it from a place I'm not comfortable with.
So are these rollbars going to be raw metal? I could'a swore I read on the autopower website that they are painted black before being shipped? Do you know anything about that? I would want to color match mine anyway.

Re: For the BIG power boys...
i have a black autopower street-sport roll bar w/ the harness bar on it. it is getting put in tomorow. i will post some pics probably this weekend of how it looks when its in incase anyone is curious.
Re: For the BIG power boys...
i have to agree here no matter what the scenario a weld is stronger than a bolted mounting plate. the point at which it mounts are plenty strong. just as long as your not throwing booger beads down you are better off welding

Re: For the BIG power boys...
Yes. All of the freight is sent collect and the cage is paid up front to us. In other words you pay the freight total to the driver upon delivery. We can provide a quote if you PM me with the model cage you want, and a zip code.
