Race Header vs non race header

Ok so i have read that you lose low end power when you go to a dc4-2-1 reagular header, but do you get better gains w/the "race"header with out the lose of low power? Maybe its a dumb question but i would like to know. And i live in texas so carb isnt a big deal to me and from reading up on the dc race header its emmissions legal just not carb

bolt ons and our cars = minimal gain thats not worth the money. But if you really want some headers check out kamikaze headers.

dc 4-2-1 header is the "race header". the normal is just a 4-1 shorty header.
Also the race header is not emissions legal because it has no cat.

Generally a 4-1 header design will give you more top end power and you will lose some bottom end. A 4-2-1 header design you gain more midrange power and torque and not so much top end as in the 4-1 application. You will lose bottom end with either header but its not that big of a deal.

CARB only applies to california it stands for california air resource board. If u pass emissions in your county then u sould be fine. Id say save ur money and get sumptin else b/c like they said it will give u small gains.
