Hi-Flow Header on 04 LX
Okay so I want a new header on my 04 LX Sedan and I have read around that the cat is actually inside the OEM header.... how do you guys get around that and still pass emission tests?
Procivic.com has a high-flow cat for like 90 bucks but how much modification will it be necessary to get it all to work? I already have a full cat-back kit and a CAI, just wanna clean up the stuff in between... Thanks guys.

Any high flow cat for sale besides random-tech is not a cat but a resonator. The only way to pass smog is to convert to an EX exhaust and get the random tech cat or a stock ex cat.

Haha that is funny. But if you look at picks of EX vs the LX/DX you can see the EX is shorty piece (4-1 design) that connects to the downpipe. The downpipe has the catalytic converter which is underneath the car. The 02 sensor is on the downpipe and the 2nd sensor is on the cat converter. There are alot of threads that show you how to do this conversion and it snot too difficult from I understand. So just try to search or someone on here whos done this conversion can fill in with more details.
