Yes, but people on here will say its pointless for our motors because there is a huge debate if you can actually change the VTEC point. You will be able to add a couple horsepower with a tune but is that investment really worth... I'm still deciding if i want one.
the charger been done already. thanks to a guy here that help me out to get the e-manage unit to help me pull 220hp from a 1.7. that's why am looking for a torque converter and maybe a v-tec controller. it almost the double the horse power. i dont dare to race it yet do to the tranmission but i did dyno it
of course i want to thanks procharger for helping me out. remeber this is just the charger with intercooler the motor has been down size to stock

I think he's disapeared into the night...again.......
It is hard to believe d17 220 hp with with a supercharger, with turbo - yes, with s/c not belivable.
Pics, dyno sheet may prove otherwise. without pics:

superchargers for a civic EX? i dont think so.
but anyways....vtec controllers ( vafc 2 ) is pretty much pointless unless you have some mods done to the car. intake, header, exhaust and the vafc 2 will probably give you a nice gain....if the guy that is tuning is good at it. ive seen someone here with a intake header full exhaust got his vafc 2 put on and tune and gained about 8 hp. pretty impressive if you asked me.

First off, the kid who says he has a supercharger on his car is a dam liar. Secondly, I have I/H/E and had a Vafc-II. I put down 123 whp 116 tq. I ended up selling it because I thought I was going to turbo the car but ended up not doing it. The only thing it really did for me was made the vtec engagement point louder when I turned it up to 4800. But if you are going to do anything serious to your car I would say by all means get a vafc.
