megan or DC sports exhaust! i decided MEGAN!
i have a choice. anyone have probs with either? i hear the DCS has rattling probs. but thats install problems huh? anyway, someone tell me. thanx

If you plan on running turbo later on, why not get the 2.5" Megan exhaust?

i personally dislike megan racing in general because their products are all taiwan made scrap metal. i run their test pipe with my apexi world sport exhaust and it made it sound kind of rapsy and 'ricey'. but im guessing that was expected considering im running no cat?
as for dcs with rattling problems...never heard of anything like that. maybe someone tried fitting a ex model exhaust onto their lx/dx?

Rep Power: 248 the megan exhaust it a lot less rice than that dc muffler just look at it.....i have the Megan catback and it's good quality and probably half the price.....the megan exhaust is stainless with a lifetime warranty i believe so it's probably not made of scrap metal...lol

Rep Power: 312 i changed my mind. i WAS gonna get the TCS but im leaning towards the megan cause i heard a nice sound clip on this sight. and after researching, i found that the TCS has problems. o well. we will see what happens.
and i can probably get the megan for half the TCS. cause the seller of the TCS wants 250 shipped. eh, i don't wanna pay that for a bad exhaust. id rather pay like 200 for a better one lol

Rep Power: 0 I have the EM2 DC Sports TCS cat-back with my k20 swap, and and it sounds pretty tough and all in my opinion. No rattles, or unexpected exhaust noise. At VTEC it screams at me which I love, but its only 2.25" and Im gonna run 2.5" custom piping with and all black ES tuning oval straight through muffler, so Im gonna get rid of it this summer. Out of all honesty, I think people who get rattles from it have had user installl issues, because DC Sports has a pretty good rep for producing quality parts. and like I said, I have had no issues with mine. But nonetheless, Im taking mine off and selling it due to a smaller diameter piping than the RSX-S exhaust I have in front of it. Hope my opinion gives a littel better insight man.
