I've had my V2 intake for about a year and a half, and the mount that is welded on to the tube broke off and the thing was just flopping around in my engine bay only connected to the throttle body for like 20 miles. I kept hearing a loud hiss. Anybody else had this problem?

maybe it was torqued down too tightly. It needs some give so it can move when the engine does.

Hit up aem, maybe they will replace it if you send in the broken one and a copy of your receipt. Its worth a call. Hopefully they will back up there product.

AEM's design flaw with all their intakes by the sounds of it. many have complained of it. if you can, just weld it together.

It's a problem with v2. If you want better intake, get K&N fipk. Otherwise stay stock it's better anyways.
