As long as you jack it up, you can't tell. not sure if the rs or the rd is better though

I have the Injen RD (full CAI) for my 5-speed. I honestly don't feel any more pull. If I hadn't gotten it for Christmas from my brother I would have bought a generic short ram for sound only and left it at that. Just thought I'd throw my opinion in there. In fact some have reported noticable loss in low-end power when they put an intake on. Sounds mean, which I like, but that's about it.
Removing the intake will only void the warranty on the intake unless you end up sucking in some water with a CAI, in which case kiss your motor goodbye. If you're good with your tools you can put the OEM intake back on and they won't be any wiser...but again unless you're bringing it in for engine warranty, there's not really much point, IMO, to taking out the aftermarket intake and putting in the OEM one.

BTW I just browsed to Injen's website out of curiousity - I don't see any RS for our cars....but it's nice to see they finally put the EL in there.

The only good thing about putting in an intake is that it frees up some space in the engine bay...

sounds good too.. I felt a little more power.. not much though.. I mainly got it because it's the ricer thing to do..

They didn't have a cool air intake like the eclipse on the fast and the furious.. So I had to get the cold air..

I just took my AEM CAI out and I noticed a gain in low end power but a loss in high end. I would rather have the low end.

I just put my stock ish back on, and I also noticed a pretty nice gain back in my low end. I have AEM CAI I beilieve. I forgot, I bought it in 01 when my car was brand new and they only had like intakes and alteezas. ricetastic shi*. I did not lose much in my high end from putting the stock one back one, but my low end gained very nicely. I would recomend an exhaust any day over an intake. I noticed a better gain with the exhaust than intake.

IDQcivic should not be trusted
I just made my AEM CAI in to a short ram, I think its better that wait, feels the the low end is a little better, I'vee seen some dyno graphs and short ram seems like it adds a little bit more to the low end, where the CAI loses low end
