highway racing
concerning my engine, my car is completely stock ( lx auto2003), i always end up racing cars on the highway, and when i hit 100 it gets harder to accelerate. i know our cars have governors on them, idont want to void the warrenty, are there parts besides FI that will help me?

don't try any highway racing in the highway. Our engine does not got any top speed. If u go anywhere over from 95-100, our car will have no power afterware.

stupidity.. man u guys suck.. bleh yea its bad to street race, highway race... yaada yaada yada.. but look... maybe u dont condone it.. but dont knock on those of us who do. I know its not safe, its dangerous for other people... WE all know the whole shmeel. ur not our parents . not that any of us listen to them.. but dont parent us. We're all gonna do what we want regardless of what ne one says.
ALL the guy asked was if he could get some more top end out his car. thats it. he didnt ask if for ur opinion on street racing.so dont give it .
I know i sound like a ****. But No ones perfect and street racing GOES ON . regardless of what ne of u say. and while u may not agree.. then that just means .. u dont have to Do it.
You have no imput on what we do.
here in NY street racing is organized.. Im not sayin that makes a difference cause it doesnt .. but im just tryin to show you how popular it is.
so back to your question beatboxed... you want more highend with out FI and voidin ur warranty.. hmmm
headers give u high end.. i noticed my HP racing header gave alot from 80 to 120, but that was also with Exhaust.
if you do both ull help the air flow better when tryin to move at those speeds .. Im not talkin crazy gains.. but instead of it just slowing down at 100 like mine used to do.. it just keeps moving steady to 134.
those mods really shouldnt void anything since their bolt ons.. but worse comes to worse save ur stock header and exhaust... cause u can bolt them right back on before going to the dealership if theres something wrong with the car.

Rep Power: 0 i agree, i know racing on the highway is bad, but when its late at night and i am cruising 75/85 in the Atlanta i am gonna break 100 somewhere cause i am alreading going like 80 except when riding dirty... had a sl500 convertible pass me like i wasn't rolling the other night and i was doing like 75....nothing wrong with testing what you paid for

i noticed a little more power in the top end range with my I/E. it doesnt exactly "bury the needle" but its a noticable difference over stock.

There is no validating it, it's a fact of life that dangerous things occur. I'm not saying it's a good idea, i'm just saying... that's the way it is. I don't really wanna get in a debate about this, there was a rather large on a while ago...so i'll just leave it at that.

A way of keeping the reall dumb ***'s of the world from over populating.But if you take out some ones family or children just because your an idiot then thats a different thing all together.If the person you hit dies thers not going to be a whole lot to talk about.

i wish everyone thought like that on this site. all i asked was how i can get a higher top end, not what you think of it, or what your feelings are on the conversation, cause frankly i really dont care. dont want to be rude, but thats me
