question for all you aem fans

I have been reading through the posts about the aem bypass valve and I came across a person who said that the valve made his intake sound stock to him agian. Is this true? do you notice a sound decrease when installed?

I have the bypass valve on mine and I haven't noticed any change in sound. Now I have the DC TCS exhaust and header and it's a lot louder now but that was to be expected!

i have a friend with a 6th gen si and his car didn't sound as good with the bypass. just a trade-off between sound and the risk of hydro-lock.
