Rep Power: 0 alrite...so i'm planing on getting an exhaust soon...i think some 4-2-1 headers...these are for low and mid end power rite? well i think i saw some in some magazine just have to look again...and then take it to a muffler shop and tell them to change the headers and then to take out my stock piping and replace it with either 2.25 or 2.5" what do u recomend? i have a 4dr. civic DX....
and i already got a dual tip aerospeed muffler...so i guess i'll keep it....
so another question is...what is the difference between some kind of job on an exhaust like this one and an exhaust bought with brand such as AEM or BC or whatever....how much more difference is there? is it really worth it to buy brand exhaust names? do u reallly feel the power??
thanks

Rep Power: 0 - 4-2-1 headers are for low end power or torque so you are correct.
- go with either 2" or 2.25" not 2.5". our engines have little power so its better to go with a smaller diameter. ask them what kind of piping do they use? is it mendrel piping or crush-bent. our stock piping is crush-bent so go with mendrel piping.
- difference between custom and say companies like greddy, is that their stuff is proven. performance wise there shouldn't be that big of a difference. they use 2.25" piping. plus, custom exhausts are usually louder b/c companies like greddy, dc etc make their exhausts to certain sound.
- get the piping straight if they will let you. some shops wont even make straight piping b/c of cops.
