hey im looking to buy a CAI and i dont know what kind to get. Two of my friends that have intakes have Injen and they say that they are good, but another one of my friends that has a lot of stuff done to his car, says that AEM is the best. So if you guys could help me out that would be great. Thanks a lot.

mah fren has AEM and she says it's the best...but the hard thing about AEM is that you have to do all this cutting and stuff...i don't kno about Injen...but that's all i can tell u....

umm...With the AEM you dont have to do any cutting unless you want to install the By-pass valve (Which personally I think is useless).

I got the AEM, just because I have heard nothing but good things about their intakes. I am sure Injen is a good company also, but I am sticking with AEM.

yah i have done a search on intakes in all the forums and what ive seen is that AEM is better for proformance. Im leaning for a AEM but you guys tell me what i sould get:

5spd, and live in california.

because i hear AEM is best with 5 spd and Injen is best with auto but i want a real answer. So if you guys can help me out that would be cool, because im getting nothing but confused.!!! AHHH. thanks

Get AEM without a bypass valve....you dont need it unless you plan on going submarining.

well i'm waiting for my injen SRI in the mail (hopefully next week). but from everything i heard it seem slike AEM or Injen is just prefference, but I could be wrong. lol if you think about it, they are "just" bent pipes with an air filter at the end, so I doubt there is a REAL BIG difference between the AEM or Injen. good luck with yer choice!

Short RAM: Easy install for both
CAI: AEM - in the engine; Injen - needs bumper removal for installation
I believe they give the same gain (if any).
