Rep Power: 0 CAI is usually better because the air it draws is a lot less dense and thus mixes and combusts better then as opposed to SRI because the air that the SIR draws is straight from the hot engine bay and would in turn be real dense.

I believe it's the other way around. Cold air is denser. That way you get more oxygen per unit volume of air. I believe the whole idea of a less restrictive intake is to get more air into the combustion chamber.

Rep Power: 394 Yes and no. What do you have? Manual or automatic? AEM tested the CAI on an automatic and they found that the SRI performed better. If you have an auto get an SRI, if you have a manual get a CAI. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
