Rep Power: 0 Suspension/Tire Qs for 2006 SI
New to this forum and to car: 2006 SI. Looking to put new struts/shocks and possibly lower it a bit. 50/50 split between aggressive driving in the canyons and freeway (about 100 miles a week). Looking at KYB GR2 or AGX adjustable. I'm leaning to the adjustable if it's not too much trouble to stop and dial it up when I get off the freeway and hit the canyon. Anybody have any feed back on this, or the ride they might give on the freeway (when dialed down).
Also looking to get some good tires that ride well (low noise, good bite). Heard good things about the Continental ExtremeContact DWS 215/45ZR17 XL. Any feedback here?
Thanks!

unless freeways are really torn up or bumpy, a soft setting shouldnt even be an issue. you can just keep them setup for the canyons. the problem with tires is you always compromise. if you want good grip, you wont have the best tire life and they will be loud. quiet tires will not grip as well but may last longer. i suggest reading tirerack.com real world reviews.
