lowering kit and alignment?

alright my friend put a 2.5 inch front and rear lowering kit on his 95 civic dx and he said that he isnt going to need an alignment.. but im saying that he is going to need one.. who is right?

Yes, he will need a professional alignment.
I have a full tein coilover setup on stock tires, drove my new suspension for 100 miles and shredded my right front tire. The outside of the tire looked fine, but the inside wore out.
I bought a camber kit, got it professionally aligned, and now its fine.
If he wants to eat through tires every 100 miles then dont get an alignment. I would also hope he bought a full seuspension instead of cheaping out and just buying lowering springs for 40 dollars off ebay

I would get an alignment.. even if it visually looks like he doesnt, he should.
