Rep Power: 0 Garage door opener causing beep
Strange, or maybe not. I haven't really looked into anything yet, but when my auto 2000 Civic EX Coupe is the only car in the garage and when I use the Craftsman wall switch to close the garage door as I enter the house, I hear what I think is a single semi short beep from the car. How weird is that?
My hearing isn't great and I'll need to arrange a second body to assist.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Garage door opener causing beep
If the wall switch is hard wired to the door opener, I'd think you are hearing things.
Does the car have aftermarket keyless/alarm/remote start or anything like that?

Okay, I guess you are half right. After seeing your reply I got three kids to come over and we narrowed it down to a squealing garage door spring. Beep beep beep at the exact same place on the down direction every time. LOL, though I'm the only one that hears it as beeps.
Oh, yes, it is hardwired.
