Rep Power: 0 Clutch Cable Alignment
Hey guys, starting my restoration project on my 1978 Civic. If any of you have diagrams or pictures of your clutch cable arrangement that would be nice. The problem I'm stuck with is that it needs a new cable (which I have) but I've never installed or adjusted one and the one that was already on there was messed up so I can't even use it as a reference. I have 4 pictures that I'm hoping will help you all give me some pointers. I'm not even sure if the cable is allowed to go over the valve cover but that's how it originally was.
The "top part of lever" that I have for my clutch cable.
The whole lever assembly probably gone wrong.
Is this how to route the cable?
Something here I'm sure is missing.

hard to find someone in 1978 that have a smartphone to take pics...
actually, hard to find a 1978 civic...
hope the best of luck.
that thing in the firewall end of the cable is to adjust tension. Now, not sure if there is a bracket
