Hey, quick question. There's a 98 Civic that I'm interested in, but the ceiling fabric is coming down on the far left and far right. Does anyone know how difficult it is to repair this/replace the fabric altogether? Or is this a job best left to a shop?

If the fabric isn't dry-rotted then get some spray adhesive (I recommend 3M brand) and spray it on there then smooth it out. If the fabric is dry-rotted then you have to remove the headliner, scrub all the fabric and foam padding off, then replace with fabric and foam of your own. I found a place that you can get fabric w/foam already attached for pretty cheap: http://www.perfectfit.com/15994/1540...lining-60.html

my 2000 had the same problem, replaced the ceiling [fabric], middle console arm rest with leather for $80.00 incl. materials.
