So my harmonic balancer stripped off the crank and stripped the splines... Its basically cheaper to replace then get a new crank. So I found a y7 motor to swap out with my y8... I have a manual civic ex now and am going to an engine with an AT.

So from what I have found I should just be able to swap the y8 head to the y7 and the intake manifold over to the y7 from the y8. Will this work? I just want to double check before I buy the engine. Im going to a y7 because its half the price of the y8 engine and need to get the car running again.
