If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: link error
Link error?
Um, I got news for you.....
You have a communications problem here too.
(That is pronounced "communi-F**KIN-cations" where I work LOL)
I sure as hell can't tell what you are talking about.
You don't seem to realize that none of us are psychic.
Now:
Year of the car?
Year of the engine?
Year of the computer?
Part number of the computer?
OBD1 or OBD2?
OBD2 converted to OBD1 so the swap will run?
Define: "will not connect".....Does it not power up, not communicate, what? Any other systems that WILL communicate through the same plug?
Will it connect to a normal code reader or scanner?
Has this car EVER passed the same emission test you are having done, with the engine and computer that you have in there now?
I'm a tech, I wrench for a living.
The engine designations that Honda uses don't mean a darn thing to me without a cheat sheet, all I can get from that is it is a 1.6 liter block.
