electric problem car won't start.

hi i need help! 3 week ago i change my Distributor cap and the rotor (added infos the little spring in there as been gone for a long time as far as i know seen i got the car 2-3 years ago) the rotor was a pain to extract seen all the corrosion that was in there but it all when in perfect i put some electric lub
on the connection and close every thing start the car no problem. i went to the store 2 miles later the car die start it again and stall again like 20 feet later no check engine light when on. the car crank put won't start, so i send it to the garage.so now they tells me that they don't know what wrong with it maybe the ecu was dead.they check it by doing that they break the wiring because it was all rusted they redo it after that they found there was some voltage coming out of the ground.they tested out most of the car change the Distributor the voltage went down but still some voltage lef like .5 or something . they barrow a ecu to test if the car start but still won't .he can't access the ecu to check what code came up and what going on. they said they check all the ground. so they are still some voltage going thru the grounds that why the car won't start they tell me .anyone had that kind of problem or know a problem that civic got that can cause that!?oh and i got sparks going thru and gaz.
the car is a 96 Civic Cx hb

You first need to get a functioning ecu in the car.
Then trouble shooting can begin, the mapp and cps sensors are both possibilities.
