If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Only if you have 16" wheels for the car.

What size tires are on it now?

Re: 215/50-16

205/55R16 is already close on my 2002 civic that is lowered.

why would you want to do that?

your speedo will be off by a large amount too, wait for the speeding tickets.

Re: 215/50-16

185-65-14 vs 205-55-16
+6% speedometer error

Google 'tire size calculator' and check/compare numbers

205-50-16 would be much closer, +2.6% error

Re: 215/50-16

the usual sweet spot for 6th gen is 205/50R15, though, that's what the best 6th gen seem to be using.

I can't read either, but it's not because of glasses....

title says 215-50-16. Durrr. I think I just ran with what you typed instead of OPs want.
That looks like a +4.2% speedo error over stock

What is your goal with the different tires? They will be wider and taller.
Will they physically fit without rub? IDK.

If you want wider without getting much taller, try 215-40-16
