Hey People,
I am in need of some help. Wondering if anyone has any clue on how much it would cost for a complete brake job on a 99 Civic SE/DX, the cars been sitting for almost a year now, and got er fired up on the weekend and no brakes. I am in Ontario, any help would be appreciated, both professional service and DIY costs would be amazing.
Thanks In Advance Folks
Chris

For front and back including drums, pads and rotors no more than $200. Premium rotors at advanced auto parts are $100 for a set, pads are $38 a set, drums are about $50 a set.
What color is the brake fluid? If you're doing brakes all the way around I'd bleed the system. Depending on how mechanically inclined you are (and if you have a buddy who can help you) I'd just do it yourself. It's not hard as long as you follow the bleed sequence. If not, I'd estimate a reputable mechanic charging about 2 hours worth of labor (maybe 3) including the bleeding. So with parts and labor, I'd say you're in the $450 range.
