17'' rims look goofy on a 6th gen and the extra weight hurts performance, think of the giant shoes on a clown. I'd suggest with sticking with a 15'' or 16'' rim.

The lighter the wheel you choose the more improved your braking, accelerating and fuel economy will be so along with looks pay close attention to that. Another thing to pay attention to is the sidewall on the tires you choose, a very low profile tire won't absorb impacts well and your rims will be more likely to bend or crack if you hit a pot hole.
