This car is giving me a major headache. I have all the components for the car to start ( Fuel, Air, Spark, Compression, Timing) and it just doesn't start. It'll crank all day but when I crank it the main relay flutters like crazy and that only happens when I try to start the engine. The main relay will click normally when I put the key in the run position and I can hear the fuel pump prime too.

I did get the car to start a few days ago but only when I floored the car while cranking. After it started I held the RPM at around 3K until the car warmed up and it idled normally for about 20 minutes before I took it on the freeway. When I drove it on the freeway I heard the main relay click and when that happened I was getting no more acceleration and a few seconds later the car just shut off like I turned the key off.

I have replaced the relay and fuel pump. spark plugs are all good and fuses are good. Also checked all the grounds and they were good. Also did a scan on the car and no codes popped up

I'm at a complete loss. Could be the ignition coil, distributor temp control sensor, bad ground im missing somewhere. I just dont know whats going on.

Hope you guys can help me out here. I really like the car and dont want to have it junked.
