This is a photo of a part in desperate need of replacement. However, nobody locally knows anything about this hose connector. The thermostat by-pass hose attaches as well as a small vertical hose.
1) does this connector have a name or part number?
2) who would sell such an item?
3) does this part screw in or is it pressed in?
4) is it an integral part to the intake manifold and will I have to replace the whole thing?
Other than that, the car is in terrific order. Original engine. 215,000+ miles. 34 MPG. Comfortable on multi-hour trips.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Get a used intake manifold from a recycle yard?

Thanks, I avoided the $300+ new manifold cost by visiting the local yard. $25 and it is clean and a great replacement.
