Sorry if I'm repeating myself but I have a 99 Honda Civic LX and I did a timing belt , water pump, and tensioner replacement. How come come there are so many different tensioners and no clear instructions on how to install properly or correct tension specs?

I'm not sure if the tensioner is doing what it's supposed to or if I installed it right? There are limited or no instructions at all for installation guidelines?? and Everytime I look it up there is always a different looking one then I installed ? can someone please help me?

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

There is but one tensioner on the engine for the timing belt, and any factory service manual (along with many other decent manuals) has the correct procedure.
