I replaced my ls with a B20B I know that it doesn’t have a crankshaft sensor because it’s jdm. I put an oil pump from an ls in it. It has a blox intake and throttle body on it. When you first start it up it idles around 1500 rpm when it warms up around 900 and when driving is where it gets weird. So in gear it’s fine when I push the clutch in the rpm jumps to anywhere between 2500, and 3000 until I come to a complete stop then it will drop down to 1500. I kinda at a stuck point don’t know what to do I checked all vacuum lines and everything seems fine. Friend owns a shop so we smoked it and it was fine.

It’s a 99 integra, last night was driving and ran into something else also. I scanned it and got a baro code. I did was I was suppose to and it drove a lot better.rpm for idle was 900 when driving the issue still occurred it went to 2500 - 3000 and I shut the car off turned it on and the idle shot up to 1500 again.

Re: Integra B20B high idle
I bet the ECU isn't running the engine correctly. How could it? The engine you installed is 10% larger than what the ECU is programmed to run. Based on the way a speed density tune works, the amount of airflow is calculated by MAP readings, barometric pressure, RPM, and air temp, and a bigger engine will move more air at the same RPM and manifold pressure, so it would make sense that you would get a baro code. The fuel and spark maps will be different too. You need to get the correct ECU for the engine if you want it to run properly. The ECU still thinks it's running a B18.

True. However, I changed my engine to an identical one besides having VTEC. Also, I tried to change to the correct ECU, but the dealer couldn't flash the immobilizer for some reason, as I posted about before. The other thing is my ECU isn't causing a problem, unlike his.
