That looks like the shift cable. You need to detach it from the trans before you can remove the trans. Unbolt the covers and do so.

What does your service manual say about disassembling the cable?


#2 is the cover plate that needs removed to get the cable off.
#10 is the bolt that holds the cable swivel to the selector shaft.

so does that cover only have 2 screw then? idk i dont have the manuel

I have no idea. I don't have the car in front of me, but you do.
Get a flashlight and use your eyes.
Maybe you should get a service manual if you can't figure out what needs to be removed on your own.
